The idea to start a mobile IV hydration business was inspired by a crazy smart nurse I met while working in California a few years ago, who has since become a dear friend. He was building an IV hydration business himself and introduced me to what I have found to be a transformative facet of wellness. At that time, the concept of taking vitamins through an IV had not reached the Midwest, as when I discussed it with my peers here, I found that they were just as unenlightened as I had been. As I continued to educate myself and research the benefits of hydrating vital nutrients vs taking them by mouth, I continued to get excited as I thought of so many people that could really benefit from it. After what seemed like forever, researching, planning and just plain waiting for the right time, Quenched IV was born.
Welcome and thanks for stopping by to see what Quenched IV is about and who we are. My name is Jenny Miller-Bays, I’m a registered nurse of 17 years and I am the owner of Quenched IV. I’ve spent nearly the last 20 years working in emergency rooms, beginning in Peoria, IL, initially as a nurse intern and then as an RN. I graduated from Methodist College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My career has been primarily in emergency/trauma, with some occupational health and wellness, disaster management and a few other cool things sprinkled along the way. Much of my career, I’ve spent as a traveling nurse, gaining knowledge, honing my skills and meeting great people from coast to coast. While my experiences are many, my goal has always stayed the same: to help people work through their health challenges by calming their fears, listening, educating, and showing compassion. It seems I have been a leader all my life; from leading my high school friends to detention with me, to leading a hospital through cardiac accreditation, to standing up and managing emergency medical shelters. I love to identify problems and find solutions. I'm so excited to now change my focus from illness to wellness, through listening, talking, and building a plan that integrates vitamin therapy with today's busy lifestyle. We are all on a journey, everyone is in a different place on the path. I truly want to make a difference in your journey.
Dr Miranda has been practicing medicine for 28 years. His specialties include Emergency and family medicine and he is a board certified OB/GYN. I've known Mario for 20 years and immediately appreciated his comfortable way of communicating with patients and staff. He genuinely cares about the people he helps. Mario takes time to actually listen, then answers your questions honestly and thoroughly. He's a great resource for me and our clients and I couldn't be happier to have him on board.
